Favorite music?

Whats your favorite music and why? Mine is metal and punk-rock...some heavy metal...and some ''gothic metal''. Reason why? I love the voices and the screaming and the madness...it makes me feel powerful in some way, especially when I'm angry. And also with the punk-rock it has nice pretty slow songs when you're in the mood for lovin'. So, what's yours?

I'm very, very passionate about music...Though there are some styles I just don't like. For example most Mod Rock/Punk Rock singers can't sing properly in my opinion...Don't get me wrong the genre has it's moments, like on Thanks for the Memories by Fall Out Boy. I like old-school Rap, like Rapper's Delight by the Sugar Hill Gang and some Run-DMC. The only genre that I'd say I really don't like is country, but that has to grow on you.

My favorite genre: Classic Rock, and all of it's relatives (Arena Rock, Prog Rock, etc.) Back then they really knew how to sing and showed it. In my opinion the best singers of the era would be Freddie Mercury of Queen and Steve Perry of Journey. Though there are several other amazing bands, seeing as how singing isn't everything...Styx, The Beatles, Boston, etc.

I'm actually kind of into New Wave a bit, too...
