Favorite Region?

    What is your favorite region in pokemon, whether it be the games, the TV series, or the manga?

    Mine has always been Kanto. In the games and the Show. Team rocket has gotten stale since then.
     
    I'd have to say Hoenn. It's by far the largest, with more things to do, like contests, which don't seem to be in any other region. And then there's the matter of the Battle Frontier, which is awesome, and is technically part of Hoenn.
     
    johto is okay, i guess its because of the so many new features they added that i didnt like.
    but for some reason i didnt like johto. they should bring back the cell phone thing though
     
    Johto all the way. It was the second region and first to have the new Pokemon. So it will always have a special place in my heart...or Gameboy..whatever you know what I mean. :-p​
     
    I'd have to say the Johto region was my favourite. Why you might ask?

    - A place to catch Dratini, and they won't run from ya. (actually, 2 places)
    - Cool contests such as the Bug Catching Contest.
    - THE GHOST GYM!!!!
    - The Ruins of Alph
    - Whirl Islands
    - Lake of Rage
    - The cooler missions TR was on.
    - Intro to berries, and they didn't have the stupid names that they do now.
    - Collecting Apricorns to make your own pokeballs. (in Crystal, that got better!)
    - The PokeNav, and the radio (also, to make it better, Buena's Password)
    - Morning, day and night
    - More hidden places

    How could you not like breeding, genders, special stat split (made hitmons useful!) and dark and steel types? The main flaw with Johto is not enough Johto pokes (the cooler ones were in Kanto).
