    I'm all for new topics. Except I'm not sure if this is new or not..

    I'm a sucker for almost any song with a violin in it, so Pokemon definitely has some of my favorite music.

    I can't remember some of the older dub tracks.. so it's a pretty small list right now.

    Anyway, these are just a select few of my favorites. XD Feel free to tell yours.
     
    Yeah, I have whole lotta Pokemon songs on my MP3 player.. XD

    "Last Battle" is seriously awesome. They replaced that track when Dawn and May were battling in the finals of the Wallace Cup, right? I hope they play it again in the anime so we might have chance to hear it in the dub. Has it ever been played in the dub before?
     
    Unfortunately I have to watch Pokemon with the volume low sometimes so I miss some of the music but I'm still waiting for Rockett-Dan to appear in a dub episode. It's such a great song! It was perfect when Yanmega showed up for the first time with Jessie in the Japanese version, so I wish PUSA would find some way to put it (or keep it) in an episode.
     
    I actually really like most of the dub English opening themes. I can't really say the same for most of the Japanese themes, though I like the animated sequences, just not the music.
     
    I only know roketto-dan no eien ni....there is only one Team Rocket song in japanese isn't it? It appeares in the episode in the first season, when they try to help Jigglypuff sing again...
    Besides that I like Kojirous song from the CD "It's a white tomorrow" The song's called Lucky Lucky.
    Tears of life from the first movie was great, too.
    Also Mezase Pokemon Master which is the first opening I think.
    Type Wild by Rika Matsumoto and Rival! The CD's also called Rival I think...
    The song Hey Pikachu by Meowth and Pikachu is very funny (not well sung of course).

    I have all the movie soundtracks, all the TV BGM and about 40 of the Japanese songs on my iPod XD

    Yeah, in Japanese, it played when Ash was using Buizel against someone in the contest. From what I remember (just going from memory, I didn't make a note or anything XD) in the dub it plays in the first Hunter J episode when they're in the aeroplane thing and they're about to fall out, somewhere around there, heh. Also, in one of the 1st gym battles in DP, I have a feeling it was Ash's when Onix uses Screech on Pikachu. But I'm just going from the top of my head so I'm not sure, but I *am* sure "Last Battle!!" has played before in the dub.

    Well, maybe there's...there's...o.O I like all of them haha. You find Spurt boring? I know everyone has their different tastes, but I'm actually surprised haha.

    Thanks for the information about the track. I'll be sure to watch those episodes again to see(or hear:P).

    Edit: actually, I was just watching the Hunter J episode about two days ago, and I think I did hear it. I'll see..

    Edit 2: Yup, it played in both of the episodes you mentioned. Great. :)

    I'm correcting myself: In japanese there are actually two songs sung by Team Rocket.
    The one I mentioned and Maemuki Roketto Dan.
    I've downloaded it yesterday....now I know...
     
    Kanto and Johto Themes. I love 'em and can't get them outta mah head!
     
    I don't quite know the other songs or themes to well, but I have heard the Satoshi Theme Song in the anime and I like it quite a lot. They did a good job forming that all together.
     
    Do movie songs count? The Oracion song is simply beautiful and at the moment I am listening to it over ad over again. It makes me want to cry for some reason. It really triggers my inner emotion.
     
    Of course movie music counts.
    I also like the Oracion music. It's real calming. Kudos to the person who composed it.
    Also the opening to the Manaphy movie. You know, when Satoshi and buddies were participating in the water performance?

    As for me... I like ALL music from the games made into anime remixes. Like the Route 201 theme, and the DP Wild Battle theme. Also the Route 208, I think. (It's played during Aoi's parents talked about Satoshi being really nice, and considering marriage, bla bla bla...)
    AH! You know about Urara? Her theme is actually the Collector's theme. (The sinister one.)
    Also, there was a sad BGM played in the first AG episode when Satoshi and Pikachu fell off the cliff and Haruka and Birch saved them with a rope. (I remember Jorah having this.) It was touching and brought me to tears.

    I *love* Haruka's theme! And Spurt. And Challenger. (Basically, Rika's songs, except Rivals cuz I never heard of it. LOL) And I like the movie endings: Chiisaki Mono, ONE, and Mamoru Beki Mono.
     
    I too have enjoyed listening to the Oracion music in the 10th movie, it gave a nice feeling of calmness and peace.
