Who is you favorite trainer that Ash has run into?(It can be Ash)

It can be Ash? Well, if that's the case, then Ash is number one! He believes in friendship with the Pok?mon he encounters and doesn't believe too strongly in evolving them. Even if his Pok?mon are not evolved (most notibly Pikachu), they manage to get the job done. He does have a few evolved Pok?mon, but they evolved out of love.

If not, then it would have to be either Gary or Ritchie. They're just like Ash! The only exception is that Gary seems to have fully evolved Pok?mon. Even his Eevee evolved into an Umbreon, so I guess he wants them to evolve to get stonger, faster. Boy, did Ash prove him wrong!

Its hard to pick, cause there all cool XD,but i like gary. He's super cool XD.

Gary started reminding me of Krillin at the end of Johto; him and Ash used to be rivals, now they're best friends. I think he's going to end up joining Ash somewhere down the road (Possibly as an observer or maybe going back to training).

Anyway, I think that the best trainer had to be the first Gym Leader in Hoenn (not the one he has an exhibition against). That was the only time so far that Ash really used Pikachu's full power in Hoenn, and that makes it totally worthwile. Seriously, Pikachu is starting to remind me of some of the characters from DBZ... Rock field with obstacles... What obstacles??

I'm sorry, but I'll have to agree with dqle on this one. I think Ash is such an amazing character. I like it how he isn't this all-powerful trainer who never makes mistakes. I think that makes him more real and likeable. He's caring, but really stern when he needs to be. He's passionate about everything he thinks is important in his life, and never lets his failures discourage him. And through all this, he still retains his carefree personality and fiery spirit. I love him. Ash kicks butt.

I couldn't agree more, except for that "love him" thing...Ash is the best!:classic:

You pretty much summed up my answer. :)

I would have to say Lance, the Dragon Trainer. He is the greatest! I love dragons!
But, my favorite character in Pokemon would have to be Kojiro (James, just in case none of you have seen it in Japanese).
