Favourite Game Features

The Pokemon games have obviously been around for quite some time now. It's a globally recognised series that could be seen as a definitive RPG game. There's clearly the Pokemon, the story in the games, and then there's the features...the small components that serve to enhance the gaming experience, whether it be through adding a new item, to new ways to use already existing things, such as the Bag.

What are some of your favourite features of the Pokemon games, and why?

I really like what they did with Pokémon Black and White, and made all TMs reusable. TMs are discs, and these kind of things are meant to be used for an unlimited amount of time unless they get damaged… so, yeah. Aside from that, I'm also really fond of character customization from X and Y. I've always wanted to do that in Pokémon games, and seeing it finally happen was literally a dream come true. n_n:;

I loved the use of the phone in Gold/Silver - I used to ring up my poke buddies all the time to see how they were doing haha (all I ever got were the same stories of Picknicker Liz and her Nidoran lol but it thrilled me nonetheless) xD


Also the introduction of the day and night system, made it more realistic and I also liked that it changed the kinds of Pokémon you could catch, like Hoothoot at night etc :)
