Filler Saga Idea !!!

    Tell us your own idea for a Filler saga !
    Mine is-

    Ash admit himself into a Pokemon Battle Academy that follow similar Ranking system as ''Battle Cheatu'' !
    The higher Rank a student get , The more privilege He/She receive ! The Duke/Duckness has almost the same authority as a Teacher However The Grand Duke/Duchess practically get to run the school . But only 1 or 2 student able to become a ''Grand Duke/Duchess''.
    As Ash enter the school , He develop an instant rivalry with the Duke/Duchess .All student are competing with one another to become a Grand Duke/Duchess.
    Ash build his own clique while setting his slight at becoming ''Grand Duke'' while crashing against the Duke/Duchness.
    However The school has an ancient connection with a Legendary Pokemon and the Evil force planing to use it .
    Can Ash survived this school ????

    I think BW series should had a filler saga like this instate of ''Decolore Island Vacation saga'' !
    Ash could shown to be ashamed after he lost the Unova League to Cameron who didn't even had a 6th pokemon.
    But he doesn't blame cameron , He blame his own weakness So Cynthia suggest him to go to a ''Battle Academy'' for instance training to prevent himself to lose like that .
    Its much better then shamelessly going on Vacation.
     
    That doesn't sound too bad, actually. I think the constant battling would get repetitive but the clique that Ash is in could potentially do wonders for character development. The big issue would be focusing on Ash's battles while managing his network of friends. We know how the writers have handled those kinds of scenarios in the past... Ash would also have to become more mature, I'd assume. Being an elegant chateau with social classes doesn't seem fitting for someone as childish and playful as Ash.

    I also really like the concept of Ash being ashamed by his loss against Cameron and using that as motivation for becoming a better Trainer. I'm surprised that the writers didn't take advantage of that major defeat.

    As for my idea of a filler arc, I think it would be really neat if Ash spent some time in Pallet Town assisting Prof. Oak with Tracey. We would learn so much about Pokémon and hopefully more about Ash's family. I never liked how Ash pretty much ignored his mom whenever he visited Pallet Town and an arc like this could show more family interaction.
     
    I actually wanted what you just said as well. I wanted the Battle Cheatu as well.

    But, I would like to see Ash do something similar like he did in the Orange Islands or another Battle Frontier. Ash needs to win something. I think a new Orange Islands like that would be good. Maybe he could bring some old pokemon back and evolve them further like he did with Cyndaquil in the Sinnoh League which took me by complete surprise.
     
    I'd be happy to see a World Tournament which would put Ash against gym leaders and trainers that he's had to face before. They could slip in some other really tough trainers and elite four members.
     
    World tournament would be nice. Maybe just about 10 to 25 episodes. Maybe something happens and they can add a side story to it. The world tournament could bring everyone one back, including May, Misty, Drew and everyone else.

    And to be honest, I would really care if they repeat Battle Frontier and Orange Islands. At least it would be better than the Decolore Adventure Arc. I like how they are trying to make pokemon into arcs like how other animes did. But they could do better.
     
    The anime need's a reboot.
    End the Ash story Line and come with something else, There is enough to do.
     
    The reboot was rebooting Ash. They have already made Origins. They tried with Chronicles and they all failed. Not to mention Origins ended in four episodes, if they wanted to reboot the anime completely, that would have been the time to do it, but they didn't. I don't see Ash going anywhere.
