Fire Red / Leaf Green - Help with team please

Hi, I played Blue when I was young and just heard about Fire Red / Leaf Green so went out and bought it the other day, i've played newer pokemon games but don't really like it as I dont know the pokemon and not really into watching it on tv.

I've made a half decent team but looking for some help on tweaks, I only want to use the original pokemon (1-151) I have mew on my blue game as I went to a nintendo knockout tournament awhile ago, I use mew as a HM slave so don't need any HM's if you also suggest a move set.

I have FireRed/LeafGreen so name any of the 150, i'll be adding MewTwo once i've finished the game, as I hear this one continues after E4.

1. Charizard
2. Venusaur
3. Alakazam
4. Jolteon
5. Gyarados
6. Snorlax

I have Raichu / Blastoise / Golem stored but I replaced them with Jolteon / Gyarados / Snorlax

Does Gyarados get any water moves? cause atm I dont have a water or rock pokemon. Also I have Haunter (can trade him so he'll evolve).

If you can be bothered please post a move set aswel, thanks for the help.

Yes... Gyarados gets water moves. Teach it Surf or Waterfall. Whichever is possible. Preferably surf.

It would be helpful to post what moves they already have because I can't really base anything off of that yet.
