3rd Gen Fire Red Team Help

Hey guys i need some help with my FR team, now im not very far through the game as i just started again today (im in Mt Moon) but i allways find i end up using the same team each time and i get bored and i need help picking a new team thats good
The team i usually have is:
Charizard
Butterfree
Kadabar
Dugtrio
Golduck

So don't suggest any of them please

The Pokemon i have in my team right now are:
Squirtle
Pikachu
Nidorino
Nidoran(F)

Not sure why i even have both Nido's but i do but i just want some overall advice on who to use in my team so i don't get bored like i have been doing.

Weird, How you got both nidorans? It shoud've been one. How 'bout catching ghost pokemon? And A fighting type and a rock type too will be good.

Eh, fighting types aren't THAT good. I only used my Primape against Lapras (Lorelei's).

I would suggest an eeveelution
Flareon would be a good choice

Maybe even get the Dratini from the game corner and train that >.>.

Pretty much any Pokemon that can learn a butt load of TM's is your friend XD.

well keep your male nidoran and get rid of the female one unless you want to have a good defence, then pick the female. ;)
Well along ur adventure u should get a tauros maybe from the safari zone, get a farfetch'd or a pidgeot, magneton, ninetales, poliwrath/politoad, and ur starter from any choice.

I would suggest a arcanine with a brave nature you can get a growlithe West of lavender town to evolvle it has a very strong attack and its a very well rounded pokemon.
