Fire Red Title Screen Sprite

Has anyone messed with the title screen logo and sprites for fire red? I did it a few months ago, and it worked fine, but the file got deleted. Upon trying to replicate it, nothing changes. Not sure why, because I did exactly what I did earlier. This is the guide I followed. Any ideas? (posted this on discord as well).
