Yeah, I realized I just made a topic, so if this isn't allowed, sorry, and feel free to delete >.<
But yeah, I came up with a FR team, and I'm planning on only using Gen. I Pokemon (my favorites) and this time, ones that I like (more).

    Charizard – Fire/Flying
    Slash
    Earthquake
    Flamethrower
    Dragon Claw

    Pidgeot – Normal/Flying
    Aerial Ace
    Fly
    Steel Wing
    Quick Attack

    Nidoking – Ground/Poison
    Earthquake
    Blizzard
    Thunderbolt
    Body Slam

    Lapras – Water/Ice
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Thunderbolt
    Body Slam

    Rapidash - Fire
    ?? Fire Blast/Flamethrower
    Body Slam
    Double-Edge
    ?? Solar Beam/Strength
    ?? Hyper Beam

    Pinsir – Bug
    Body Slam
    Cut
    Hyper Beam
    ?? Rock Slide/Strength

I'm either putting in Pinsir/Scyther or Rapidash, not both. I prefer Rapidash.

    Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan ?? - Fighting

Those are my choices. I realize there's a bit of a problem with Nidoking and Lapras...so if anyone has suggestions (keep both, replace one with something else), please do give. And also, I can't really decide between Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan at the moment.

I definitely don't wanna switch out Charizard or Pidgeot, and would rather not remove Nidoking so yeah. I prefer Rapidash over Pinsir, but Pinsir/Scyther both work for me (provided I can actually catch one...) and Lapras can be switched out, I'm fine with that. I'm also open to adding in a Raichu (or anything really).

I also realize I have many HM moves there, reason being that I don't want an HM slave...but if I must, I will :3

    So please suggest Pokemon/moves! Thanks!

Lapras' set is actually pretty nice. No need to change anything.

As far as Nidoking, I suggest replacing Blizzard with Ice Beam. Ice Beam's more accurate.

Don't use Rapidash, as you've already got Charizard as your Fire type. Even in-game, you don't want to double up on types too much.

I also recommend adding Fly over Slash or Earthquake on Charizard. That way, you can get rid of Pidgeot. It's pretty bad overall. Epecially when you get to the legendary bird trio.

So with Charizard, Lapras, and Nidoking in your party, you have room for 3 others. Raichu and Hitmonchan are my picks out of the ones you suggested. And the final slot is really up to you.

Go with pinsir and hitmonlee waaaaaayy better than rapidash and hitmonchan also I would go for a Dotrio over pidgeot

The one thing Hitmonchan has that Hitmonlee doesn't is access to all 3 Elemental Punches. The Fire, Thunder, and Ice Punches provide for excellent type coverage, which Hitmonlee doesn't have. Therefore, Hitmonchan > Hitmonlee.

As far as Pinser, if you do go with Hitmonchan and Raichu, then Pinser can be your last pokemon.

One thing you might not know: this is a third gen game the TC is asking for help with so the three elemental punches are all special attacks not physical therefor hitmonlee>hitmonchan

Type coverage means nothing if the attacks are so weak to begin with that even supereffective hits aren't going to do much damage relative to strong fighting-type attacks. The only real reason to use Hitmonchan is for a Hi Jump Kick that doesn't hurt the user when it misses, but really that isn't so great compared to Hitmonlee's 15 base Attack points higher. That being said, both of them will suffice against the main targets they're used for on in-game teams, namely Lorelei's Pokemon and a few others scattered throughout the Elite Four and beyond.

Lapras is great though you might want to consider Psychic over Body Slam, which is nice for Fighting-types and Poison-types, both of which are good to try to OHKO due to their respective abilities to do huge damage with supereffective STAB attacks and the ability to poison Lapras, which is generally annoying. Body Slam isn't really bad though, if only because of the paralysis chance.

Pinsir isn't diverse enough to warrant a slot, so Rapidash is probably better. At the same time, Rapidash is basically a worse Charizard, so you might want to consider something with type coverage that is unique to your team. Snorlax is always a great option for its great power and special bulk, and it can learn a lot of strong physical moves. Its bulk is great for getting out of tough spots and Yawn is great for catching wild Pokemon.

    This team should work well.

I thought those attacks were Physical in 3rd Gen games as well?

Regardless, Lee is more of an attacker and Chan a defender. Just choose what you prefer.

I personally would take Lee for sweeping and Chan for Type coverage.

I'm more of a Lee fan.
