So, I've really been wanting to try out the Battle Tower for ages but I've always been kinda intimidated by it. However, I decided to create a somewhat unique yet efficient team for the Battle Tower after looking up some cool teams. Honestly, I'm not sure how these guys would fair in game so before I do anything, I would like some helpful and insightful critiques and suggestions on the things I can change (which will probably be a lot since this is my first team). As long as you don't bash me or anything, I'm open to any and all criticism and changes you think will work for me. Thanks in advance and here we go!

    THE LEAD

    Umbreon
    @ Leftovers
    Trait:
    Synchronise
    Nature:
    Bold

    EVs:
    252 HP, 252 Def, 6 Sp. Def

    • Yawn
    • Protect
    • Flash
    • Payback

My lead for this team is an Umbreon Sleeper and props for this idea goes to Calisto of Smogon. My strategy is to Yawn then Protect then switch out to my first Sweeper once Yawn kicks in. Flash is another option for me before switching out, just to mess with my opponent's accuracy. Payback is there for STAB and possible revenge killing.

    Gallade
    @ Lum Berry/Life Orb
    Trait:
    Steadfast
    Nature:
    Jolly

    EVs:
    4 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spe
    · Swords Dance
    · Psycho Cut
    · Ice Punch
    · Leaf Blade

This is my first Sweeper, a Physical Gallade. Swords Dance after the switch to boost attack. My other moves are STAB Psycho Cut that can handle Ghost-Types and cover his weakness to them. Ice Punch is for type coverage and move diversity and Leaf Blade for a possible revenge killer for my second and final Sweeper.

    Ampharos
    @ BrightPowder
    Trait:
    Static
    Nature:
    Modest

    EVs:
    4 HP, 252 SpA, 252 Spe
    · Thunderbolt
    · Substitute
    · Signal Beam
    · Discharge

My second Sweeper is a Special Ampharos. He doesn't have a diverse move pool but I made do with what I had. Thunderbolt and Discharge are two good Special moves with chances of paralyzing an opponent. Substitute for obvious reasons and Signal Beam is another good Special that gives him some diversity.
