would you agree that the fishing in diamond and pearl are crapier and harder were is hoenn is like easy as whats your thoughts

Honestly, I never had an issue with any fishing from any generation-- they all seemed pretty easy to me (including getting the hang of pressing A everytime in... Sapphire? Leaf Green?).

My only frustration was always getting Gyarados instead of a rarer Pokemon, like Dratini or Dragonair, in Diamond-- then again, that's what appearance-rates are for. Not so much a fishinig mechanic as it was a wild-encounter-mechanic.

Fishing is always fun for me, especially when I could grind with all those Gyarados that I had caught. :) What suck is the crazy amount of Magikarps out there. That was the main reason why I didn't start fishing till I got the Super Rod.

Fishing in Hoenn is not that easy, IMO. Before that, fishing was only about luck. You used to put your rod in water and wait for the chance of a Pokémon to appear. I think the "wait for the (!) balloon" thing added a role to the fishing. It became funnier and harder at the same time. (Specially when accelerate the emulator and use Super Rod ^o^) It's like when Mach Bike came. I had to develop my abilities for that thing, thank Arceus they made that Cycling Road...

Fishing in Hoenn was really hard at first. Especially if I looked away for a second because then my catch was lost. Pokemon wise though the fishing was better in Hoenn compared to Sinnoh. I never seem to catch anything good in Sinnoh. :(

Hoenn was the hardest. But Hoeen had better catches than any other region too. So it was worth it.
