    im having trouble beating flannery
i have no water moves in my lineup
    i have:
16 poochyena (bite, tackle, rock smash, howl)
20 kirlia (shockwave, confusion, teleport, flash)
21 lombre (bullet seed, fake out, astonish, idk)
23 swellow (steel wing, wing attack, peck, growl)
26 aron (knows dig, strength, cut, headbutt)
29 combusken (double kick, peck, ember, bulk up)

whats my best option from here?
    please help!!!!!

it might be best if you caught a geodude and trained it, considering the early game water types kinda suck. if you don't want to do that, you can teach your combusken rock tomb. i'd suggest using bulk up a couple of times though as to defend against body slams and increase the power of rock tomb.

There are two things you can do with that team of yours.

    You can:

a.) Train Combusken to atleast level thirty-two. Once you do this just spam Bulk Up three times, then just do Double Kick over and over again.
b.) Train your Kirlia to level thirty. Make sure you teach it Calm Mind. After that you just spam Shock Wave or Psychic.

Catch Marill right by that Peeko Bird house and just level him/her up until It's got some stronger Water moves and also I suggest you try to level up Kirlia up a little bit more.

i like the second option better bc it seems less time consuming
but where would i train them???

Just have your Aron use Dig a bunch of times.
Dig won't do crap against Flannery espeically at that kind of level. Aron has a weak attack points, so even if s/he does pull if off, it'll take a long time because of the low attack.

Plus, if she gets in an overheat attack, then Aron's typing means its all over for him.

Are you on R/S or Emerald. Cause the different teams will obviously mean that you need to battle differently :\

Use items. Train Kirlia up a bit more to get decent Sp. Atk and she'll slaughter the team. Maybe evolve your Pooch for the added bulk (so you can send it out to take the hits while you heal your team).

I would suggest just training the team you already have, especially if you plan on using them permanently. Otherwise, you'll be spending a lot of time training a Pokemon you only want for one battle.
If you decide you want to go catch something else, I've found that Pelipper is a good choice, and Wingull aren't hard to come up with.

Aside from that, don't forget to use a lot of healing items.

This is why Mudkip is the best starter. You never run into these kind of problems. While Ludicolo will become a good Water-type for your team, it certainly cannot help you now. Personally, I would catch a Geodude and raise it up. It might be more time consuming, but you are going to find that having a STAB Earthquake attack will come in very handy later on.

If you don't have the patience for that, and since your Combusken already has Bulk Up, as it was already said, I would abuse it for a few turns and then use Double Kick. Certainly not as effective and will require you to use items a lot more, but it you will be successful.

    Good luck.

Probably the best Water-type Pokemon at this point in the game is Tentacool (in my opinion, anyways; some may argue Marill). If you have the Old Rod, find a body of water (preferably just head back to just outside of Dewford Town, if you have the time, as it's usually a pretty good place to catch them), and catch one. Raise it Lv. 30 to evolve it into Tentacruel, and on the way, it'll learn Bubblebeam at Lv. 25, which is a fairly solid Water-type move.

I'd consider raising a Geodude a better option over this, though, but I figured I'd mention an alternative, since everyone already brought up using Geodude before.
