Gross? How so? I swear, you people REALLY have to elaborate.
I use both colored pencils and markers, prisma. I went to this site that has an online comic, and the owner uses this technique for her comissioned art where she colors it with prisma marker first, then goes over it in pencil. So I tried it out, and it works wonders. Really makes the colors solid looking. Believe it or not, I colored the hyena's fur first in a sky blue marker, then used various browns over that. The result was rather nifty. The background of the Pregasus was just pencil.
Ha, an old favorite. Hitmonarch/Ryular. Not the best pose (limbs moving on the same side look odd), but I really like the way the natural armour turned out. For those who don't remember Hitmonarch, it is an ancestor to all the hitmon and Tyrogue, not an evolution to them.
