I'm planning on making pokéfusions, but I have two questions: first, which editor should I use? Paint has no transparency, and Paint.net it's kinda confusing. I've used KolourPaint, which is the best for me but it's only for Linux. The second question is: can I substitute Treecko for a fusion with new types, moves, etc? (assuming I'm using Ruby)

Edit: Edit because maybe I haven't explained myself at all: I want to make pokéfusion to include them in a rom hack.

why do you find paint.net confusing? if you could clarify.

I think it's kind of confusing because transparencies - I find them more easy to use on KolourPaint; because it has a lot more of configurations (kinda like GIMP)... And because what I want to do it's fairly simple compared to what (I think) paint.net can do - I don't know if I clarified your question
