I noticed in Gen 7 that after capturing a Pokemon you can gain EXP. It could have been in Gen 6 too, but I don't really remember. In earlier gens, the battle would end without giving the player EXP.

I was just wondering if there was a way in Pokemon Essentials by scripting, a way to give the player EXP after catching a Pokemon. Preferably a lot of EXP since it's a strong Pokemon. If you are able to help, thanks!

This is built-in with Pokemon Essentials version 17+.

You can go into your Script Editor -> Settings -> line 100 (or use Ctrl + F "GAINEXPFORCAPTURE"). Set this to true and you should be good from there.

    Hope this helps
