[Error] Game file won't show up!

    When I try to use RPG Maker XP to continue on my game, the "game" file doesn't show up. I have no clue what's wrong and what I should do.
     
    There is two game apps (afaik there isn't a "game" data file, just the exes), the one for editing and the one for playing not in debug mode. You probably accidently deleted them.

    As long as they are the only thing missing, you should be able to copy those from a fresh download of essentials and it will run. The game.exe themselves don't hold the data, they just intrepret it. As long as everything else is still there you should be fine.
