I'm just curious, if I provided a service to host games(such as an online multiplayer game made in GAME MAKER, or ECLIPSE, or even a server for left for dead or something...basically anything that isn't illegal) at the rate of $1 per max user a month, who would be interested, I had an idea for something like this and I do have a server in my room, so it very well could happen if I get enough monthly rate to have the server pay for itself.

Why dont u host a forum service or web hosting service maybe even a networking service and charge people... Like invision has plans where u can use their service to provide others with bulliten boards or forums whatever u wanna call it...

I have a friend who started Jcink.com and makes more than enough money on advertising alone...

It would be interesting if you provided a code library / API/ set of Classes for developers to work with.
If you had a site, with a download package that could be imported with the base scripts done and showed people how to add the scripts into their projects, and provided support to them, it could do well.

So using the API you provide, the dev could just do something like:
[PoemanServer sendData]; // When button is pressed
or something simple like that one line, it would take off.

I don't know much about online programming but there are a lot of examples for game maker :D
Also 39 DLL is a standard in online development but most know about it.
