Game Idea: Dr.Who and The Mystery of New Earth

    Watching The Dr.Who episode on BBC 1 yesterday a thought suddenly occured to me. There arne't very many Dr.Who games out on the market/Fan games. So i have decided to 'try' and make a RPG Style Dr. Who Game based in New Earth.

    The Story
    ############
    It is the year 5 billion and 9025.A Lord who goes by the name of Dr. Namely has ought most of the droid companies. He has sent these droids on a trail mission to Destroy New Earth. As well as sending them into the present he has also managed to send a number of Droids into The future and Present. Dr. Who and Rose myst conquer these robots if they are to save man-kind.
    These Droids include: Darleks, Andoids and many many more (I forget the rest!)

    Features
    ############
    The Features in this game are quite Complexed, As you are roaming about new earth in the year 5 billion and 9056 you get to visit citys like New New York and New london etc. You also have the ability to Time travel in your Tardis. You get the choice to go back 1000, 500 or 100 years into the Past/ Future.
    Going forward or backwards in time will change the enemies. Say in the year 5 Billion and 8056 there may be a Darlek Invasion. But in the year 5 billion and 8556 there may be some androids roaming about. It all depends on the Year.
    This game will probably use the RM2K3 DBS but it could change at any time.

    Being a Dr. Who fan, I'd like to see this game developed.

    However, I believe you'll have a better chance of bringing people
    together once you've done some work yourself. Also, it's somewhat
    lazy in my opinion to ask for a team before you've done so.

    I'll start when I return from London which will be on Thursday. I'll start the intro and then begin to map new new york.
    If anyone has ANY Dr.Who related Sprites/Overworlds that they can donate to the production of this game. Please consider it
