    since day 1 of the alpha stage for gen 1, workers at gamefreak have been working hard to create the greatest pokemon games they can, sometimes taking no pay to save the company. they have come out with 21 main series games in just 7 short years, and are soon coming out with two more, pokemon x, and pokemon y. this has been the goal of gamefreak since day 1, a 3D pokemon world. now, their dream will come true on october 12th 2013. i think we need to all sit back and acknowledge
    how hard they have worked for us, and will continue to work. it is not an easy feat to make a game like pokemon, or even to have an idea as genius. even as gamefreak recovered from a recent earthquake, they are still standing strong today, and for that, i thank them.

    Yes, let's all hear it for Game Freak! Thank you for so many awesome games, so many great memories (even though I forget when they actually happened), and hours of endless fun.

    I really appreciate what gamefreak has done but there is a major downside all other games that involve catching animals or monsters get either A) Accused of being a pokemon rip-off or B) Get nothing because Pokemon has such a monopoly on those type of games.

    Sorry, but Game Freak has a "monopoly" because more people like Pokemon than the other similar titles. That is not their fault, if anything, it speaks volumes as to how much we owe them thanks.
     
    I was waiting for 10 year for a 3d pokemon game. it final here XD. the first day pokemon stadium came out n64 i was hope they make 3d version for there handheld. i might just catch all the pokemon to see there animation is like. 2d sprite made game little bit boring but now 3d make all fun again
