2nd Gen Gameshark Help For Pokemon Crystal

    Hey hows it going. I wanted to know if there is anyone out there who would know how to use the gameshark for Pokemon Crystal. The one that i have is black and has a toggle switch on the bottom left and a push button on the bottom center. It says its for gameboy color but it just wont work. Sum1 told me that i need the crystal gameshark in order for it to work. Is this true? And if not, can sum1 give me a step by step on how to get codes to work. Thanks
