Hey, people! I haven't been active here for a while, and I thought- what the heck? Why not get feedback on my poetry again? Yay!

To Be a Star
One day, a call from Twinleaf Town,
Echoed through the night.
"A baby's born!"
They cried aloud,
"Cynthia, step aside!
The star of Twinleaf has arrived!"
The citizens watched her grow,
One, two, three, through nine,
Until one day,
Her eyes ablaze,
She woke up,
Wow! She was ten!
Trotted, she did, to Rowan's lab,
And picked the far ball, to the right.
And to her surprise,
She saw in delight,
A Turtwig was inside!
With it, she followed her only dream,
To face Cynthia in a fight.
Throught the gym leaders,
She crushed Roark,
Defaced Byron,
Beat Gardenia,
Murdered Maylene,
And kept ripping through the leaders till
There was no one left.
She prepared for the Sinnoh League,
By training with her friends.
She kept it up till the day came,
Round one, her first league match.
She fought it, won it,
As all the rest,
Until, once again,
Nobody stood.
Her party was but a day, however,
As she went on to train more.
After all, the Elite Four they say
Are impossible to beat.
After a month of work,
she said she was ready;
Aaron was her first test.
But Aaron was no match
For her cunning, quick thoughts,
As was Bertha,
Then Flint,
And, finally, Lucian too!
Her heart filled with joy
And her eyes filled with tears.
The Twinleaf's Star's
Dreams were coming alive!
But the day before the fated fight,
She fell asleep,
Forever,
In the dark of night.
Some thought her dreams dead,
Gone with the wind.
But though her life can't last forever,
Her dream will never die.
She was resserected,
In stone,
And guards the league to this day-
Beckoning the courageous,
Giving the weak strength.
Her heart lives on in others;
So look at yourself,
Twinleaf's Star's part of you.
