Can I level up Gardevoir Lv.X into a Gardevoir Lv.X?

No. Gardevoir ex is not the same as Gardevoir. Gardevoir Lv.X specifically says "Put onto Gardevoir", not "Put onto Gardevoir ex".

Darnit. I remember the 'gym having a thread like that, but I couldn't find it. Anyone else want to prove me wrong(or right, yeah right).

Like Cipher said, the card says "Put onto Gardevoir". You can't argue with that.
