I know it's very unlikely to happen but if GBA games did come to the Virtual Console which games would you be happiest to relive? I don't know much about the technology behind it but I it's possible some day because the thought of having a FULL library of Pokemon games on one console would be amazing. Roms ain't my t'ing, bruv.

Some other GBA Pokemon games have been re-released in Europe for VC, so I could see further releases potentially happening. My guess is that GF would want them to be compatible with Sun/Moon if they made them, though, and as GBA releases seem to be on Wii U, it might require more work to make the transfer feasible. I'm not dying for the GBA releases the way I'm dying for GSC, since I can still play my GBA games (with the exception of the clock and berry growing), but it would be fun to play them again. I think Emerald would be a lot of fun, as it would be nice to play through the Battle Frontier again, and that isn't available in the remakes. I wouldn't mind FR/LG either, as I'm a sucker for Kanto. Ruby and Sapphire I would play if released, but I could live without them (assuming I could get any exclusive Pokemon from them), as ORAS was a good enough rendition for me, and the other features that I like from R/S are available in Emerald.

I don't think they would ever put them out on the Wii U because you'd lose the local multiplayer functions (and it'd be a lot more work to program it to go online).
It might be technically possible to do GBA games on the New 3DS only (if those SNES games sell well enough) otherwise we'd have to wait for a new type of DS console. But I think if they continue with the VC releases by making GSC available that they'd eventually get to R/S/E and FR/LG.
