    Hey guys. It's been awhile since I've worked on a fangame, so excuse my lack of knowledge. I just downloaded a fresh copy of Pok?mon Essentials (I've tried both 17.1 and 17.2) and whenever I try to start the game.exe or the playtest mode, I get this error message:

    Spoiler:

    You are using essentials 17.1;
    Use 17.2 instead. There are a couple problems with 17.1 that are fixed in .2

    This is just a bit of a wild guess, but maybe you need to delete your previous saved game? It looks to me like Essentials might be trying to load the sprite for a Pok?mon that doesn't exist in 17.2 (e.g. a gen 5+ one), and my first guess at an explanation for why is that you have a save file for a fangame simply called "Pokemon Essentials".

    My save is at: c:\users\mgriffin\Saved Games\Pokemon Essentials
