getting the phantom promo cards on tcg for the gbc

Anyone here remember the gameboy colour version of the trading card game(tcg)? I recently dug it out again to see if i could get all the cards, I have all the cards except for the 2 promo cards (mew and venasaure(sp?)) that you can only get by card popping with other people.
Has anyone discovered a way of getting them (a glitch like with mew on rby)? I seen gameshark codes, i've got a action replay not a gameshark.

I'm sure GameFaqs has codes for both AR and GS. Try there. If not... PM a card nut like Satoshi-kun or Shadow or someone like that. XD
