Do you believe in spirits and stuff?

I suppose I sort of do... It freaks me out though... :\

yes... i used 2 live in a haunted house... litterally.

    I guess kinda >>
I'm not naive (no offense to anyone) enough to believe in ghosts but it's kinda fun to think there's something out there...

EDIT: And after thinking about it I do believe in spirits but not in the ghosts that would haunt you.

    Err.. yeah I do :0

I mean, it's kind of hard to fathom that all the ghost stories ever told would be fake. Some of them (even if it's only 200 out of the 2 billion) have to be true.

Believing in ghosts isn't naive, I don't think. Maybe to think they'll pop out of a haunted lollipop and torment you physically and mentally for the rest of your existence, but to think that maybe a spirit is wandering around outside their resting place isn't so crazy.

Unless you don't believe in any sort of afterlife. But if you do, I don't see what's so weird about it.

    I think I've seen a ghost before

Sorry no I dont believe in ghosts, god, curses or anything related, Im an atheist so Science+Maths beats anything

im just wondering how do you explain away that every single cilivsiton has had tales of ghosts? hoe do they come u pwith the same idea?

I do believe in them, and I also don't. 0_0
I can't really make up my mind about them.
I know they aren't real, yet I think that a few of those stories about spirits are true.

i believe in them but only cuase my hlouse is huanted but for the people who dont believe i reckon they should not say they dont believe in them they should say that they need prroof

Well, I beleive it ever since I saw a comouflaugic floating thing in my room that distorted air around it.
    but... it was 4 am.

    Yes.
There is too much proof to say they do than they don't.

I also believe in ghosts because I used to live in a house with a "friendly ghost" as you would call it, and he loved to mess around with our stuff. He would bury things in the back yard, rearrange my dad's tools in the basemet, and stuff like that. He also helped us out with our problems. He was awesome.
But, we had a family of five, and the house was too small. We moved, my dad formed rooms together (we used to have an apartment in the back), and we sold it to some guys would made it a rent home. Now He has the house all to himself.

Another reason is after my grandma died, weird things happend to us that happend to no one else.
Her car turned on by itself, without the key,
When my brother was in school, there was no breeze but still his paper blew to the other side of the room.
And in the graveyard where her grave is, there is always something summoning us to her grave. Like one time when my dad was at a funeral, chick pees flew from everwhere and landed on him. as soon as the funeral was over, he went to her grave and they all flew away like nothing happend.

and that's why I believe in sprits and stuff.
    yeah.

If anything is ever stated, chances are I've believed in it at one point. I'm not hugely religous, but

    Aliens
    Spirits
    Ghosts
    Monsters

I don't believe in them all but I definately believe they exist. If reakl myself out somtetimes. Especially when I'm camping wondering where the Saskwatch is >.>

Perhaps the most sensible post I've seen in a while.

Seriously there is no hard evidence for ghosts. Whoever said there is 'too much proof' is wrong, there is no proper evidence at all. Psychics and mediums are often debunked or shown to be con artists. Coincedences are remembered, retold and eventually overexaggerated throughout lifetimes whereas other normalities are forgotten about in the scheme of things.

Obviously I don't believe in superstituous rubbish, otherwise I might as well believe in the tooth fairy and flying spaghetti monster whilst I'm at it.

Um sure why not? It's not about whether there's proof or not. If there's a glimmer of a chance why not take it, there is no horrible punishment if your wrong.
Crazier things have happened, well some crazier things......It's all about imaginasion. Not trying to convince you, but you can't write off people for believing in something because there's no "proof." A lot of things wrong with that.

And even if they don't exist wouldn't it be cool if they did. That's why you believe for the sake of having fun and believing in something.

Of course some things are a little to up and beyond, but I don't want to get into that. It involves being mroe than one contradicting eachother..blah...blah...blah.

Though I agree with science+maths beat everything, I believe ghosts were really proved to be true scientifically. I mean, not the guys that float or whatever, but energy or something like that. Anyway, if it hasn't been proved, I still believe because, first, I have heard many many people I trust and, second, even though there is yet no proof that ghosts exist, but there will never be proof that they don't. I admit ghost have become so popular that people just imagine or invent anything, but why can't they really exist? I've never seen one but you can't say all the stories are made up.

I totally believe in both spirits and ghosts, but I believe them to be different things (I think I have seen both, but I don't talk about that much). Ghosts are people who have passed away and still rest on earth because they have something to be fulfilled. Spirits are entitys that protect certains areas and people, and can also be violent, as can ghosts. But overall they mean no harm. The times I think I've seen them is I lived in this old house in Newfoundland, look it up on a map, its in Canada. And it had this whole victorian feel to it. And I was little and was like OMG THERE ARE HAUNTERS UNDER MY BED! But one night, Im not sure if I dreamed this, but I was lying awake in bed, and a glow kind of entered my room, and I swear I saw a little girl in a nightdress who had tiny wings go throuhg the floor! And another time I was camping near a lake, and there was a waterfall nearby, and I was walking and tripped and fell into the water below the waterfall, and it was tiny so I wasn;t going to drown, and then the currents around my rippled and I saw a kind of soft face looking at my then it dissappeared.
