GIF as an avatar?

    So I've been trying to put up a GIF as my avatar since I've seen a lot of people with avatars like that. I tried putting in my GIF at 100x100 pixels, but it said that it was too large. How small is a GIF supposed to be to be considered the right size?
     
    But the only way that will fit is if I use it like this (and this is after resizing and cropping down to 63 KB).

    Not pixels. The size of the file. Right click and go to properties in windows to find the size.
     
    Really. That's a problem. You could always get some more space if you become supporter.
     
    you may have to cut out some frames to get the file size small enough.. optimize the color palette as well.

    also, make your gif the height/width as your allowed avatar or smaller and don't select resize in your ucp
     
    Well I was able to insert a gif file in my signature but I guess you have to upload a file way smaller than that of mine to make it your avatar...
