ok im having issues with gifs in one version of the file looks like the animation does not refresh correctly and parts of the previous frames are left behind until the full animation is complete and another version of the file makes sections of the image flicker bettween transparent and normal

From what I see in the attached files, they are working properly.

I think I know what problem you have :D
I use GIFs from the pokecheck library (https://sprites.pokecheck.org/?trainers) and, to work fine, I remake the GIFs with AnimationShop..

How do you have inserted trainers GIFs? I've tried with IconSprite, Sprite, GifBitmap in PokeBattle_ActualScene, but the trainer's GIFs don't play ç_ç

i just placed in the characters folder and removed the png version

the gif works fine how did you fix it so i can have more in the future (im using photoshop cs6 at the moment)

Ok, if the gif works good on this page but not in game, it could be there was a problem when you made the gif image. I had the same problem with a pokemon gif that would flicker for a few movements. It turns out the problem was, some of the images used for the gif where damaged.

I recommend looking over the images used for making the gif in whatever program you use, and then making it again. It worked for me.

I use the latest version of Gimp to do my gifs and it works fine, so I recommend using that one.
