This is a team I made that is purely geared towards sweeping. This is one of my first teams, so comments are greatly appreciated!

    Azelf @ Life Orb
    Modest
    Levitate
    6 HP/252 Speed/252 Sp.Atk

    Energy Ball
    Extrasensory
    Flamethrower
    Thunderbolt

Azelf's relatively fast IMO, and its moves give it versatility. However, Sucker Punches pwn this guy. I kept it a special sweeper instead of a mixed one so I don't have to spread EV's among Atk and Sp.Atk.

    Rampardos (M) @ Choice Scarf
    Jolly
    Mold Breaker
    6 HP/252 Atk/252 Speed

    Crunch
    Earthquake
    Hammer Arm
    Stone Edge

Once again, it has good type coverage, and Choice Scarf makes Rampardos pretty fast.

    Salamence (F) @ Choice Band
    Adamant
    Intimidate
    4 HP/252 Atk/254 Speed

    Brick Break
    Crunch
    Dragon Claw
    Earthquake

607 Base ATK power pwns, and Choice Band boosts that as well. The only problem I have with my Salamence is that it gets restricted to one move. Would Life Orb be a better item than Choice Band?

    Kingler (M) @ Life Orb
    Jolly
    Hyper Cutter
    16 HP/252 Atk/240 Speed

    Crabhammer
    Rock Slide
    X-Scissor
    Swords Dance

This guy is pretty good, but usually doesn't have enough time to pull off a Swords Dance before it gets knocked out. Unlike Rampy and Salamence, Kingler is free to use any attack at any given time.

    Absol (M) @ Choice Scarf
    Lonely
    Pressure
    6 HP/252 Atk/252 Speed

    Night Slash
    Psycho Cut
    Superpower
    X-Scissor

A pretty nice fighter, but always gets killed by SubPunchers. Also, it seems to be too predictable.

    Metagross @ Life Orb
    Adamant
    Clear Body
    152 HP/252 Atk/104 Speed

    Earthquake
    Stealth Rock
    Meteor Mash
    Explosion

Supposed to be an AgiliGross, but I never use Agility anyways, so I replaced it with Stealth Rock. Earthquake and Meteor Mash are solid moves, and Explosion is a great killer when Meta dips below 20%. I also like to use it against Swamperts and Machamps after Azelf goes down.

    Primary Threats

These are the ones I thought of off the top of my head:

    • Stealth Rock/Spikes/Toxic Spikes: None of them have Rapid Spin, and Salamence takes 25% from Stealth Rock.
    • Rotom: Somehow, I can't manage to kill them.
    • Anything that I don't OHKO or 2HKO: Includes Baton Passers, Substitute/Berry Pokemon, etc.
    Strengths

    • OHKO's and 2HKO's are fairly easy
    • Wide type coverage

So what do you think of the team?

That Azelf is a terrible lead because it is outsped by Aerodactyl and suicide lead Azelf who can get up stealth rock and kill with explosion. It is also beaten by lead Tyranitar, Metagross, Gengar, Weavile and Machamp. And also why extrasensory? Psychic is better. Grass knot deals more to Suicine, Tyranitar and Hippowdon so it should be used over energy ball. The only thing its really got going for it is surprise.

Since you say your team has a stealth rock weakness try a taunting Aerodactyl lead:

    Aerodactyl @Focus sash
    Jolly
    Pressure
    252Atk/252spe/4HP
    Taunt
    Rock slide/Stone Edge
    Earthquake/Ice fang
    Stealth rock

Taunt can stop suicide lead Azelf from setting up stealth rock, whilst setting up stealth rock its self, which can really help with your sweep and helps against sub/berry pokemon.

Also lonely is not a good nature for Absol. Try Jolly or Adamant.

Use Psychic >>> Extrasensory on Azelf and Fire Fang >>> Crunch/Outrage >>> Brick Break on CBmence.

imo the problem with this team is two relatively slow choice scarfers, both of whom are very easy to set up on, will leave your team open to the powerful sweepers in the metagame. I would replace them with more capable choice scarfers (which is basically Heatran lol, which would leave the other slot open for another sweeper like Gyarados or Scizor).

I would also find something to deal with Thunder Wave Blissey since it kind of destroys the entire team. Resttalk Machamp is a good choice.

    fix your ev's
    254 doesn't do any better than 252
but those other 2 on ur hp for mence

    really?
    y not?
if 510 is the max, and 252+252=504,
then wouldn't it be better to hav those 2 extra evs?
