Gliscor's Potential

a Stage 1 Fighting type with 1 retreat cost, 100 hp, and the ability to poison and prevent retreat all for one energy
In addition, it can do a Hit and Run with its second attack.

It seems useful, but does anyone have any idea what pokemon you can pair this with?

Gliscor is unfortunately pretty bad. For 1 energy it does 20 damage an poison and prevents retreat. Its second attack is the same as Donphans 1st attack but cost 1 more energy. It also has less hp than donphan. If it for some reason resisted fighting and was weak to something other than water, it could be good.

Ideally it would have 1 strong energy, a muscle band, and fighting stadium or virbank city gym out. So gliscor would hit for 20 for base damage, 40 with strong, 60 with muscle band, and either 90 with fighting stadium or virbank city gym. Though between turns Virbank would do more damage. it also makes lasers more painful for you as well.

Sure it can 2HKO most things, but there are just other pokemon that do it better.
