Why do most people in this forum who use GIMP, apart from me, always mention it in their galleries and other showcases? Even when they post one tag for rating. It really ticks me off!

About the graphics, the general quality is good but the image qualities of some are poor. The text on some is pretty poor and the tags are very simple and plain, they could really do with much more effects.

Well The reason why I think they post that is because most people are proud that they made it in gimp because it is limited to graphics potential compared to photoshop.....

I like making simple avatar's that are good for the eyes because that is just my style~

Not intending to be offensive but your really talking rubbish now.
Have you even used Photoshop? Photoshop has a few extra features than GIMP, that's all though. I have both and learnt how to use nearly all the features in both programs. I mostly use GIMP, imo it's definitly the easiest to use and speeds things up a lot. The tags your making, the style of yours, it won't need anything Photoshop has.
