3rd Gen godly battery life/pokedex 'caught'

.okay, okay, fine - this isn't strictly related to pokemon but I didn't know where else to post this. but I suppose, since I use my GBA for pokemon exclusively, I guess it can go here, sort of.

okay, right now, I'm stuck in the middle east for now, and I last charged my DS and GBA in august. the reason I can't charge them is because a.) the sockets are different and b.) the voltage is different, and I don't really want to buy a power adaptor. so august is when I came here (temporarily, btw) and when they were fully charged. the DS has long since died, but my little blue SP kept chugging away at sapphire until yesterday when it gave its last breath.

HOW?

has anyone else had this godly battery power? (btw, no modifications)

next subject (this IS related):
I was playing sapphire on my godly GBA and started a new game. so, I just beat flannery in lavaridge and I beat her with wobuffet solely, and what worries me is my 'caught' pokedex:

I have in my party most of these evolutions/caught:
combusken
breloom
linoone
beautifly
wobuffet
taillow (refuse to evolve; way to cute )

and in my box I have a mightyena and a makuhita.

is this ridiculous? should I be trying to fill the pokedex?

Well, my GBA lasted the entire summer without an adapter. Last breath was back in September. But I wasn't really harsh with playing on it anyways.

On topic, yes, I beat the entire game of Sapphire at the age of 5 with 9-10 Pokemon in my Pokedex. The Dex is an extra after all, so it's up to you whether you fill it in or not. If yo feel like it, be my guest ; just remember : it's impossible to complete it 100% without trades.
