Me too, except my version was Crystal. I love Chikorita! But Totodile I really prefer Totodile now. I rush crystal with Feraligatr, Pidgeot and Sudowoodo.
Anyway, I think I finished Yellow before Crystal.. Yellow was all about killing people with my dugtrio. Never could find another one that would be as awesome as my dugtio in yellow was..
