Gold. I have Crystal, but it's not as fun as Gold IMO, even with the upgrades.

Yeah, same here. My friend has Crystal (I technically don't have it) and he let me borrow it. It was OK..... Gold was better though.Gold. I have Crystal, but it's not as fun as Gold IMO, even with the upgrades.

Gold has the distinction of being my first Pokemon game, but since its battery is dead I can only play Crystal if I want to re-visit Johto. So I can't choose.
EDIT: Did I mention that I have a plastic case for my Gold cart? I have it on display in my room on a shelf. :laugh:

Gold I played, but not that much, because it fell in some soup, and is broken forever.. T.T. I think I'd have to say Crystal, because that one NEVER fell in food, and I could play as a girl, and simply I just have more memories in it. Nothing against Gold, however.

Well I have all three games but my favorite would have to be crystal because you are able to obtain all three legendaries and that appealed to me very much(by legendaries I mean ho-oh, lugia, and suicune)
