PLZ tell me any hints, or even cheats u have for saphire or ruby, cause im desparate. :classic: :classic:

Train hard. That's all. Have a varied moveset. EV train. IV Breed. Tons of things! Even I can beat it.

Beating the game is easy, but there are tons of hints, tips etc...

A few I picked up while playing:
-Have a Pokemon with False Swipe in a team. You don't know when you run into a shiny.

-Sometimes it's good to play in the Game Corner to escape from the stress of fighting.

-Save often.

First, that is the most mature statement made in this thread. Not using cheats can increase the amount of amusement in the game.

Second, catch a variety of Pokemon. A team of all fire type is not going to be what brings you victory. However a team with different types at similar level will put you on the top.

Third, battle everyone. Yes, it may cause the game to go on for long periods of time, but it will help.

Fourth, plan ahead. Know before you start what Pokemon you possibly want to train. Look at the many gymleaders and Elite 4's Pokemon. Study them and plan ahead.

Fifth, use your items wisely. Rare Candies, PP and HP UPs, Protein, Calcium, ect-- are very helpful items. Have in mind when you get a Rare Candy that if Pikachu is at level 25 and Chimecho is at level 21 that you should use it on the weaker Pokemon only if you are training that weaker Pokemon.

Sixth, remember to be froogle with you money. Don't buy 50 Ultra Balls and only have $2300 to buy potions and revives. A very helpful tip is when you find revives, assorted potions, and other helpful items put them in item storage for later in the game. When I reached a city that sold Revives I would buy 5. So when I got to the Elite 4, I would already have some stuff in my item storage.

The seventh and final, it is just a game. You are not expected to win every battle. Every lose is another lesson. If you are losing a lot against Tate and Liza, you may find it helpful to catch and train types that are stronger than them, or train your Pokemon to higher levels.

Every great Pokemon trainer has their own problems at first. If you are just starting out take the beginners way. What is the beginners way? The beginners way is not worrying about EVs and IVs and training naturally. That is WAY to complicated for a new trainer. Start taking EVs and IVs on when you get more experiance and you when you know the Pokemon better. Even if you have been playing Pokemon for three years, if you cannot seem to get the hang of it take baby steps. The other branch of the beginners way is admitting you are a beginner and that you need some help.

Train one pokemon from the start till it gets to lvl 100 (before the elite 4 of course) and have lots of elixirs and the like for the elite four. That way you will be able to take down any pokemon with extreme ease (even gym leaders and elite 4). The down side is that using this stragety you cant catch weaker pokemon because you can't weaken them. You can cheat to get inaccessable things of course.

This is a Mewtwo I made using the Pokemaker V4.0.

The moves are: Ice beam, Bonemerang, Crunch and Cross Chop. You may these moves are rubbish, but all together super effective against 14/17 types.

I usually carry around very few Pokemon around with for the fact that it's easier to level up, most of the time you will be at a higher level than others around the area, and you won't waste time training a Pokemon you know you will not have at the end of the game.

Pick out a Pokemon you want the most and progress through the game until you are able to catch it/receive it. Make sure you have different types of Pokemon (of course). And, most of all, have fun.

P.S. The Hunk's advice is really good, especially about fighting everyone. It'll level you up faster and get you more money than just going around in circles just beating down on helpless wild Pokemon.
