5th Gen Got Pokemon Black Today!!!

I got an early copy of pkmn Black, and I gotta say I like it! but the friends you have are really gay in the beginning, I mean they are cheesy..
But I dont have the stratgey guide so I dont know what pokemon are good yet or not, but I like playing like this.

My question to you guys is which pokemon should I look forward to catching?

Also I chose the fire starter like I always what starter would you chose?
