PM means Private Messages. See the thing that says "Welcome, ClagPKMN

Private Messages: 0 Unread, Total 0."? Click the Private Messages to read your PMs and you can send one to someone by clicking their name in a post they made and click "send *person's name* Private Message".

XD is a smilie and means that you're laughing hard. It's similar to LOL which means Laugh(ing) Out Loud.
