2nd Gen Growlithe

I already gave you that answer a few days ago in another thread that you made earlier. Here it is again:

As for Growlithe, you can find one in Route 35, 36, 37, or Route 8. I recommend looking for one in the first 3 routes I mentioned.

They are there. You aren't looking hard enough. Route 37 is where they are the most common. Every other route they appear in are uncommon.
 
Nope, they don't appear at night in Crystal. I forgot to mention that. Maybe, that's why you haven't found one in the wild.
 
I've had the same trouble since I can only play after work (which was after six, therefore night time in game), but you have to look for them during the morning/day time. You won't find any at night, nope. I found mine by the berry trees under Ecruteak City, personally, but the other routes listed have them, as well. Good luck!
