BE SURE TO READ ALL OF THIS, even if you have in the past, there are some changes and additional features.

To put it simply, this a tournament that is taking place on a battle simulator called Pokémon Online. This isn't like any other tournament though, it will be using a point system like the past few GT tournaments. The goal is to win the most, of course. Battling the most might result in more wins as well. Everyone starts at 0 points, and after winning a battle, you gain 1 point. As a result, you lose 1 point if you lose a battle. You can't lose any points if you have 0 points, so no one can have a negative score. Additionally, after 2 consecutive losses, you won't lose anymore points until you win another battle. At the end of the GT, the top 3 users who have the most points wins!

To battle, log on PC's Pokémon Online Server after downloading Pokémon Online, and simply ask for a tournament battle. Be sure to warn your opponent that it's a tournament battle. When reporting wins and losses, it is preferred if you post once and edit it with future wins for organization.

Not only this, but server staff is allowed to set up mini-tournaments on the server, and the wins and losses of that mini-tournament will be added to this tournament's points. 1st place of a mini-tournament gets 2 points instead of 1 for the finals battle (loser of that battle only loses 1 point as usual). And by mini-tournament, we mean a tournament hosted on Pokémon Online, via /tour command.

The tournament starts right when the Get-Together does, so now. To join, simply post saying so along with your Pokémon Online username. It doesn't matter when you sign up.

    — The main generation and tier that will be used is 5th gen OU, also known as "Wifi". However, you may still ask for battles in different generations or tiers, this is just the standard.

    — Evasion, OHKO, Sleep, Species, Wi-Fi (team preview), and Disallow Spectators (optional) clauses must be used. The former two clauses are already the default (so it's not on the list of clauses), and Wi-Fi clause is only for 5th generation play.

    — Again, when reporting wins and losses, it is preferred if you post once and edit it with future wins for organization. Do not post in the server for results, or even message me there, I will ignore you (it's much easier if you keep them in the thread only).

    — Save the logs for your battles if the need for them ever arises. Pokémon Online can automatically save logs under "Battle Options" when connected to a server.

    — No rematches will be given if you lose because of hax (bad luck).

    — You may change teams anytime during this tournament.

    — You may have rematches, however you can't have more than 5 battles with the same opponent.

    — A user will lose 1 point if he/she rejects a challenge.

    - You can refuse a challenge if you are idle. Don't stay idle and continue challenging other users while rejecting ones that are sent to you. Basically, only use idle when you are actually busy, not when you're battling.

    - You can also refuse a challenge if both you and the opponent can't decide on generation or tier to play in.

    — No watching battles unless both players don't mind, no countering other teams, and so on. Essentially, no cheating.

The former is for the top 3 winners of the tournament, so the 3 users who have the most points. The latter is for anyone who completes one battle for the tournament.
