4th Gen GTS?

I asked for a Bidurf (thats what I call them) for a Celebi and actually got it. People do it for the lulz or they want a different regional Pokemon

I know! The only way I've ever traded is by offering one of my pokes. I've never found one that had a reasonable offer. Actually I lie I think i did that once.

Does that mean hackers will give you pokemon just for fun of it? :o And i just scored a lvl 99 magikarp :D
 
Yeah some people randomly do very weird trades. They probably do that for fun, or because they are bored out of their minds. I put up a lv 1 chimchar a friend gave me for a lv 100 shiny dialga and got it a minute after I posted the trade. Im still surprised someone actually traded me for it.
 
They are reasching for random hacked pokemon people like to get rid of; or are just stupid lol
 
Forget about the GTS altogether. Also, if you have an R4, you can open the save file with Pokesav, export the obtained Pokemon, then scan it with Legit Checker, that's what I do. So far, only 1 hacked Pokemon out of the 4 I've received on GTS.

LOL. That would really annoy me actually....
 
The gts is so stupid... I was looking for a Japanese Ditto on there, and nearly all of them were level 100 darkrai's or jirachis -.-". Stupid GTS...
 
People do this because they are trying to use the GTS glitch in pearl and diamond to clone their pokemon...its how I clone my pokemon ATM. It stinks though because if its a busy time of the day and you put a poke in there, you can get duped. Like I did today (Lost a shiny Entei copy for a lvl 100 HACKED Magikarp). O well, at least I still have the original. AR here I come!
 
I have also noticed this! It seems that the GTS is flooded with terrible deals. Perhaps the reason that people are asking for random things in exchange for their powerhouse legendaries is because they want a pokemon from a different country, or maybe one country in particular?
 
I got alot of random Pokemon out of GTS. .__.
I traded a level 6 bidoof and got back a level 100 prinplup.
It's funny.I only use GTS for Jap Pokemon. People probably just want different regional pokemon.
 
I bet people want to either; 1) complete their National Dex's or 2) see how well their hacking skills are. I have a friend who likes to randomly give out lv100 legendaries just so he can get every single Pokemon in the Pokedex.
 
Yeah on Emerald when I was completing my Pokedex (needed Feebas, Milotic, Jirachi, Celebi and whatever the evolution of Mudkip is called) I was desperate. Good thing I bought a second hand game with those 5 on there.
 
Children... they think... "OMG OMG OMG mommy i caught a biffoff!" 6yr olds....
 
Well, I don't care. I usually use it to get evolutions by trading. Ex: I put there a Machoke lvl.30 and I ask for a Machoke lvl.30 so taht I get a Machamp to fill up the Pokédex. That's a pretty good thing in it.
