Just a fan fic based on the events after GX will update weekly if lucky plz review.

Chapter 1:
Jaden Yuki was sitting at a gas station with Pharaoh sitting right next to him and was fast asleep; Jaden had been running for the past 2 hours and finally found a place to take a breather and to take shelter from the blazing sun.
"Hey kid, you need something to drink?" an old man who owned the gas station asked from the front door.
Jaden opened his eyes and looked over and smiled, "Sure, that sounds good"
The old man nodded, "alright come on in. It's on the house"
"Thanks" Jaden said as he walked inside the air conditioned room.
"Think nothing of it; it's only fair seeing as how you helped me get my truck out of that ditch"
Jaden shrugged, "I have a knack for helping people in those kind of situations"
"Well I appreciate it" the old man said as he grabbed a soda from the cooler and handed it over to Jaden.
"Thanks" Jaden said as he popped it open and started drinking.
"So where are you heading?" the old man asked as he checked outside for any vehicles.
Jaden stopped drinking to catch his breath before talking, "I'm not too sure to be honest. I'm just heading wherever the wind guides me"
The old man chuckled a bit.
"Did I say something funny sir?"
"No, it's just that I haven't met any kids before who were into traveling, most kids would just stay home and watch TV or something"
Jaden nodded as he listened, "That's the trouble these days, and not many kids know how to live so they just do whatever they call easy" Jaden heard the front door bell ring as the door opened and laughed seeing it was just Pharaoh walking in.
"Not only that, but you're also taking a cat along with you" the old man said as he watched Pharaoh walking past.
"Ya, he belonged to a teacher of mine"
The old man nodded, "I see...well, if it helps I know that there's a hotel a few miles ahead that you could stay at"
Jaden finished the soda and looked out the window at the dirt road where he would be going.
"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I'll need a place to stay before it gets dark outside"
The old man smiled, "It was nice meeting you Jaden" the old man held his hand out to shake Jaden's hand, Jaden gladly smiled and shook his hand.
"Take care of yourself sir"
"You as well"
Jaden walked out the front door and turned to the bench where his bag was and opened it and waited for Pharaoh to run out of the building and hop into the bag. As soon as Pharaoh hopped in Jaden noticed a photo fly out of his bag and start to fly away.
"Wait!" Jaden yelled as he ran after it. Pharaoh sat in the bag and yawns seeing Jaden running around in circles trying to catch the photo. Yubel appeared on the bench next to Pharaoh who was still watching Jaden.
"Jaden, shouldn't you just leave it alone? if you loose it you'll still have the memories" Yubel said as she looked at Jaden jump into the air and finally get it.
"True, but I still want it" Jaden replied as he walked over and put the picture back into a pocket on the side of the bag and zip it shut.
Suddenly Pharaoh Opens his mouth and a little gold orb floats out and turns into Banner.
"I happen to think that it's very good for you to keep it Jaden"
Jaden looked back and smiled, "Glad you think so "
Yubel faded as did banner who turned back into an orb and flew into Jaden's bag but a certain cat was waiting. Jaden just started pulling the bag over his shoulder when he heard banner scream inside the bag followed by a cat burping. Jaden sighed as he started walking down the path and sang to himself.
"100 duel monster cards on the wall, 100 duel monster cards, take one down trade it around, 99 duel monster cards on the wall. 99 duel monster cards on the wall, 99 duel monster cards, take one down trade it around, 98 duel monster cards on the wall..."
Jaden continued to sing as he walked down the side of the dirt road.

Chapter 2

please review, it might make it better.

"2 duel monster cards of the wall, 2 duel monster cards, take one down trade it around, 1 duel monster card on the wall" Jaden sung as he continued down the road. Jaden's bag hadn't moved for about 20 minutes so he figures that Pharaoh had fallen asleep in his bag. Jaden didn't blame him, Jaden was walking for hours and he had just been singing "100 duel monster cards of the wall" for the 8th time.
"Do you even know where you're going Jaden?" Yubel asked as she appeared and started floating next to him.
"No idea, I just know that I'm walking on the side of a road and that the sun is starting to set" Jaden replied as he looked up and could see the once blue sky was turning orange with a hint of pink.
"If it helps I noticed when I flew up a while ago that there's a city a few minutes from where that old man said the hotel was" Yubel said as she looked at her nails and then turned her gaze to Jaden who stopped to think.
"Alright, sounds good" Jaden said as he picked up the pace and began running again.
Yubel quickly caught up next to him, "I would have thought that all this walking would have worn you out by now"
"Nope, just warmed me up for even more running!" Jaden laughed as he continued down the road. Jaden ran for about 20 minutes before he noticed a building up ahead, Jaden's run slowed to a jog as he got closer.
"That must be it" Jaden said as he neared the building.
Jaden walked through the front door and could see it wasn't that expensive looking and he had some money and figured that he had enough to stay the night. Jaden got near the front desk and approached the girl working there. Jaden stood there for a few moments but she hadn't noticed him so he didn't want to say anything in case he startled her, nor did he want to just stand there and wait for her to look and be startled anyway. Jaden thought quickly and just looked over to the bell and tapped it and it rang which got the girl to turn around.
"Oh hello, welcome to the Romanto hotel" She said as she smiled.
Jaden looked at her closely, she was a blond with blue eyes who was wearing a green outfit and skirt, Jaden assumed that must be the uniform for the staff because Jaden noticed a bellhop with a green suit and one of those small hats they wear.
"Hello, I was wondering if I could stay the night" Jaden said as he lowered his bag from his shoulder and set it on the floor.
"Alrighty then" the girl said as she turned and started typing on the computer to look for a room.
"We aren't too busy today so we a lot of free rooms, which floor would you like to say on?"
Jaden shrugged, "Doesn't matter, any will do"
The girl giggled a bit and Jaden just blushed to almost the same red as his Jacket.
"Did I say something funny?" Jaden asked.
"Nah, just that you're kind of cute" She replied.
Jaden could feel his blush getting worse, "Thank you I suppose"
The girl held her hand out, "My name is Megan"
Jaden shook her hand, "Nice to meet you, mine is Jaden"
Megan smiled, "Your room is on the 3rd floor"
Jaden nodded, "Alright, How much?"
Megan looked back at the computer then back to Jaden, "$85 for one night"
Jaden reached into his pocket and searched though his wallet and looked through his money and started to count it but his thoughts were interrupted by Yubel.
"Are you starting to like this girl Jaden?" Yubel asked as she stood leaning against his back.
Jaden ignored Yubel and handed Megan the money and she handed him the room key.
"Thank you" Jaden said as he turned and made his way to the elevator, after Jaden pushed the button for the 3rd floor he responded to Yubel.
"You know that I don't, I was just being friendly" Jaden said as he checked the floor.
"You sure that not a single hint of-"
"No" Jaden interrupted her, seconds later the elevator door opened and Jaden pressed the close button and walked out before it closed in front of Yubel but she simply passed through it.
"That wasn't very nice Jaden"
"It's also not nice to ask people about how they feel about people" Jaden said as he approached his assigned room.
"Fair enough but you've been so cold to me lately, you seem like you don't even want me around anymore"
"That's not true, I just have things on my mind is all" Jaden said as he opened the door with the key card.
Yubel flew in then hovered to the ceiling and turned upside down and placed her feet on the ceiling and crossed her arms and watched as Jaden unpacked some soap and shampoo.
"Having a shower I see" Yubel said as she saw Jaden take his Jacket off and toss it onto the bed and walk over to the bathroom.
"No Yubel, I'm going to go and stand in the bathroom holding a bar of soap and bottle of shampoo for 10 minutes and walk out and that'll get rid of the smell of me running all day"
Yubel laughed a little, "Looks like someone is getting a little sarcastic"
Jaden also laughed as he walked in and closed the door behind him. "Might have just gotten it from you" Jaden called from the bathroom followed by the sound of the shower turning on.
Yubel walked down the wall to the floor and preceded to Jaden's bag that he had placed next to his bed, Yubel watched as Pharaoh jumped out and climbed onto the bed and quickly fell asleep.
Yubel looked into Jaden's bag and saw the shine of his duel disk and his cards inside of it. Yubel also noticed the picture that Jaden had been chasing after and sighed as she walked over and leaned against the door to the bathroom and waited for Jaden to finish in the shower. Yubel stood there for 10 minutes before she heard the shower turn off and stepped away and sat on Jaden's bed, after a few moments Jaden walked out with a towel around his head but had his old pair of pants on.
"Jaden, why did you put your pants back on?"
Jaden just stood there and gave Yubel a look; it took Yubel a few seconds to realize what he was implying. "No, what I meant is why didn't you change into a different pair of pants?"
Jaden shrugged, "Dunno, I'll just be running again tomorrow"
Yubel nodded as she lay onto the bed, "You going to stay up or fall asleep now?"
Jaden walked over to the TV and took the remote from on top and sat at the end of the bed and turned the news on.
"Guess that answers my question" Yubel said to herself as she sat back up.
Jaden watched TV and looked though his cards for at least 4 hours; Yubel sat on the bed looking at Jaden then the clock and back and again for those few hours as Jaden watched something about a Duel monsters tournament.
"What do ya know" Jaden said as he looked over to a map of the area that was on the dresser next to the bed.
"What?" Yubel asked as she stood up on the bed and walked and lay next to him.
"That tournament is being held at that city that we're close to" Jaden said as he placed his deck next to him and grabbed the map and skimmed over it.
"Odd timing isn't it?" Jaden asked as he checked how far it exactly was.
Yubel shrugged, "You always have a knack for these kinds of things"
"I know what I'm doing tomorrow" Jaden said as he lay down on the bed and reached over and turned off the lamp next to him as well as the TV and placed the remote next to his deck and closed his eyes. Yubel smiled and closed her eyes as well and faded.
Jaden lay asleep for a few hours but a red star could be seen in the sky and it remained in the sky for a while until it made a small flash and then a beam of light shot out of it and though Jaden's room and hit his deck and left the deck sparking for a few moments before it returned to normal and the red star faded into the black sky.
