Gyarados Moveset

Hey, I have an Adamant Gyarados. It Currently knows.

Gyarados @ N/A
~Earthquake
~Flamethrower
~Dragon Dance
~Hydro Pump

I know this is a horrible moveset, Can anyone make suggestions in how I could make it better?

EDIT: It currently is EV trained in attack.

~Waterfall/Taunt/Return

What else is it EV trained in? There's a extra 256 Effort Points around.

Why would you give Return to Gyarados? Everything else is fine. But I think the option of Taunt should go on Ice Fang. Like this

Because it means that things can't touch you with status conditions, which is very good for Gyarados.

It puts a wrench in the gears of pokemon like Blissey, Dusknoir, etc. but forcing them to attack.

yes, taunt is an awesome move, unfortunitly few worthwhile pokemon that can use it are able to learn it.
