    has ash ever actually just fought a gym battle and got the badge without having to save thy gym in some way? i would like to see it. i know it would be boring but i wanna see it.
     
    ?actually, come to think of it, I don't know. Then again, I haven't seen all of his gym battles?

    I think maybe in Azalea, but it's been ages since I saw it last.
