    * You have to have at least three pokemon of your type.
*The area of attraction is the "Aura Tower"
    *The setting is in Johto
*They travel through Johto, battling Professors and other people.

    Story
This story is set in the past, where the Gym Leaders are only 10 years old. Gyms are closed, so the Professors take charge of Pokemon battles. The Burned Tower isn't burned, and Bell tower isn't constructed yet. In place of the Bell tower lays the Aura Tower, where a Legendary Lucario lies.

You get to choose which Gym Leader you'll be, but you'll start out as a trainer, aiming to be a Leader among towns. As you start your adventure, you spy a Riolu carrying a messenger bag, which then runs up to you and gives a note..

    "Save Lucario.."

You try to ask what this means.. but you were too late. The Riolu has run off, possibly to another trainer like you. You shrug off this letter for a while, but you are still intrigued in the message behind this note given. You continue on your journey battling various Professors, starting with Professor Holroyd.

During your journey to become a Gym Leader, a notorious team named Team Rhyduss is wreaking havoc among the Johto and Kanto regions, looking for something, but what could it be? Does it have any reference to the note given? You'll find out more during your journey.

Will you become a Gym Leader?

Please may you put your name and where you are at the top of every post. We don't do chapters here, but in your first post write your feelings, and then you going to Professor Holroyd's lab, in Cherrygrove City.

    "Dracoa, use Twister!"
Clair's Dratini twisted in the air, and a small tornado whipped from her body.
"Yes!" Clair yelled triumphantly, punching the air. "Old Holroyd won't know what hit him!"

Clair exited Dragon's Den, Dracoa draped around her shoulders. She had a good feeling about today. Today was the day she turned ten years old, and so today was the day she'd begin her training to become the best Gym Leader in Johto. She'd even give her brother Lance a run for his money.

Dracoa jumped into the water, closely followed by her owner. The two swam to the mainland, where they emerged from the waters and shook themselves dry.
"There's no way that Professor Holroyd will defeat us today, Dracoa. We're way too strong for- ...What's that?"

A small blue Pokemon had emerged from one of the ledges leading to Blackthorn City. It was carrying a small bag, and looked a little like a dog. Clair dropped to one knee so that she was at the Pokemon's level.
    "Hello. Who are you?"
Dracoa sniffed the pokemon eagerly, looking up at Clair for approval. The Pokemon however, seemed to have no interest in formalities. It stared up at Clair, holding out a small note which had been produced from its bag. Clair eagerly took it from the Pokemon, not certain of what to expect. Once she had established it only contained two words, she was considerably disappointed.

"Save Lucario... But what does that mean?"
She looked up at where the Pokemon had stood, but found herself staring at an empty path. Dracoa and Clair exchanged confused looks.

"What an odd little Pokemon. He certainly isn't from Johto." Clair folded the note and placed it in her pocket, declaring it as useless in her mind.

"C'mon, let's get going. Cherrygrove awaits!"

"That little bird thinks it can take us? What do you have to say about that, Brother?" Wake points dramatically toward a Pidgey, looking at his Buizel. The Buizel, named "Brother", puffs up his chest and releases a powerful Water Gun. "Good one! Show him the power of your shower! The motion of your ocean!"

The Pidgey takes the hit, then charges forward to attack. Brother dodges, then Quick Attacks from behind. "Your speed is impressive! You're faster than anything! Hit him, Brother! One more time!"

Brother Quick Attacks again, knocking the Pidgey out cold. "Oh YEEAH! None can stand against you, Brother!" Wake hears a rustling behind him, turning to face this new threat. "Ding-dong! A new challenger approaches!" A Riolu pops up beside him, brandishing a note. "A formal challenge? In paper form?" Wake reads the note, Brother arrogantly turning his back.

"It says: 'Save Lucario'. What's this? A challenge not of a martial nature?" Wake looks down, but the small Pokemon has vanished. "That blue dog offers a challenge, but it lacks detail. We have more immediate concerns! Let's go, Brother! Holroyd awaits, oh yeah!" Wake recalls Brother and heads out, leaving New Bark Town behind him.

Maylene got off the Plane, which took off.
Her Riolu followed closely behind her, as they ran into New Bark Town. She saw a few Hoppip bouncing alongside some trees. Within them was something Blue. It was a Pokemon. The blue thing stopped bouncing and ran up to Maylene. It was a Riolu! it looked at Aura, her Riolu, and then up at Maylene. It held out a blue letter, from his bag and gave it to Maylene.
"Save Lucario..? What? Riolu? Aura? What does this mean..?" but the Riolu had run off, and Aura knew nothing about it. She ran out of the Town, onto the path and saw a guy. He had a Buizel with him.
"Hey. you going to see Prof. Holroyd?" she said. She didn't wait for an answer. She ran off...

(OOC: mzmingle I think you should stop using that font no one can understand what your typing)

"Come on Volkner" begged Flint as the pair sat near to the beach."just look at Chimchar he wants, your Shinx wants to" it seemed useless Volkner was just admiring the ocean how vast, powerful and mysterious it is. "Flint you want to know why I like electric types" "Here he goes again" Flint rolled his eyes laid back onto the ground but Volkner still continued "Electric types are kinda my way of concurring the ocean an-" Flint jumped up from the ground "I've heard this a million times you like electric types because they have an advantage over water types who you can find in the ocean blah blah blah" Flint was obviously annoyed since he heard the story "See what happens your story put Chimchar to sleep your like an old man sometimes with all your wisdom" Flint was complaining again he always is, Volkner usually says his hair fits his personality perfectly. Flint looked on Volkner who was unusually quiet through all his complaining. "What are you reading?" Flint asked as Volkner closes what appears to be a very ancient looking letter.

"A Riolu dropped it off while you were complaining" Volkner got up and brushed the dirt off himself "Hey Flint i'm going to Cherrygrove" Instantly Flint was shocked "Why!" now he was frantic "Was it because of that letter" Flint grabbed it and read it before letting out a huge sigh "You always believed in these sort of things" Now Flint was looking sad his best friend would have to leave "Maybe it's my destiny" Volkners Shinx jumped up and down as he played with Flints Chimchar for what could be the last time for a while. "Well you better start walking" Flint was always an overly emotional person but Volkner could understand why this time. "Hey it's see you later not good bye" Volkner hugged Flint and started walking towards Cherrygrove with Shinx by his side. " Well Vol this is the start of your great journey"

"Tirtouga, steady...." Roark spoke from behind as he wore his white gloves, his red helmet still on his hed, even though if it was a few sizes too big at that time. It made him look special. Tirtouga turned to look at his trainer, confusion in his eyes. They weren't really bonded yet, since Tirtouga was just a fossil two weeks ago.

"Bite!" Roark commanded and the Tirtouga knew what to do this time, crawling on the ground with his sea-turtle-like feet, he lunged towards the wild Shinx and bit him in the leg. Roark was about to command again but then a large brick whacked him from behind, bouncing off his helmet and onto the ground. If it wasn't for the helmet, he'd been dead.

Picking up the brick carefully, he saw a little paper attached to it.

    Save Lucario (me? xD)

Looking around to see who threw it, he saw a little dog-like pokemon, blue in colour, and when the Pokemon saw him, he dashed away.

"What'd you want me to do?!"

    Route 29, Johto

"Now, finish it with Take Down!" Byron commanded. Beldum fired a powerful Take Down to the wild Pidgey, and the Pidgey fainted. "Great job, Beldum!" Byron said. Byron went to Cherrygrove to heal Beldum. On his way to Cherrygrove, Byron saw a blue creature with a messenger bag. The creature gave a note to Byron. Byron opened the note and it said:

    Save Lucario...

"Huh?" Byron said with a confused look. "Where is it? Why is it in trouble?" Byron asked the creature. But the creature quickly ran away. "That creature looked sad, is Lucario his relative? Is it his closest friend?" Byron asked himself.

    Cherrygrove City, Johto

"Your Beldum is now fully healed, Byron." Nurse Joy said. "Thanks, Nurse Joy." Byron replied. Byron went outside and saw Pidgey and Hoppip flying in the sky, some Rattata playing in the grass and a Poliwag swimming in the pond. Byron ran to the north of Cherrygrove and he sent out his Beldum from its PokéBall. "Well, Beldum, this is the start of our journey...to save Lucario" Byron said as he looked at Route 30.
