    The words in my emerald version seem to not work properly! every word when I talk to some is destroyed!
     
    Could you have a fake game?

    Fake Emeralds have a black or grey cart instead of green, and often have problems with the text, saving, etc.
     
    Yeah... or it could very well be a fake partial translation. Lol, I had some pretty nasty experiences with fakes. >_<;;;
    ...but I suppose nothing more can be said until tha thread starter confirms wether or not it's fake...
     
    If it's not a fake he could have scratched the part it reads. If so, take it back to where you bought it and trade it for a different one.
     
    Well You could help us a bit more is it a Fake Version,Have you dropped the cartridge,Is it a ROM.

    If you explain in more deatail we may be able to help.
