4th Gen Happiness Evolution in D/P

    I'm trying to raise a Budew into a Roselia, but it's taking SOOOO long to make it happy enough. It already lost the ability to learn Magical Leaf...

    I know that leveling up, walking, and letting it hold items is good for it, are there any other ways in D/P to make it happier?
     
    If you'd really rather not just catch a Roselia, I recommend giving the Budew a Soothe Bell, feeding it vitamins, keeping it in your party, etc. And it can still learn Magical Leaf via the move tutor.
     
    Yeah, I know, I just don't wanna have to waste Heart Scales on a PKMN that SHOULD be able to just be happy...:P
     
    I gave up after the second gym. Yes, budew managed to solo take out Roserade, but I gave up when I got the happiness checker and foudn she didnt even have 1 heart. I caved in and found a roselia on WiFi -.-
     
    It finally evolved at Lvl. 26 :D Too bad it missed Giga Drain, Grass Whistle AND Leech Seed...nothing a few Heart Scales won't cure, eh?
     
    you can trade from your R/S/E excluded Emerald if you dont have one in there, thats what I'm doing I'm not messingh with no happiness
