Happy Birthday, United States Marines!

    Today, November 10th, is the 232th anniversary of one of the most elite military forces in the world, The U.S. Marines.

    Originally known as the Continental Marines, they were formed back in 1775 in Tun Tavern in Philadelphia.

    This makes the Marines 9 months older than the United States.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY, U.S. MARINES!

    I love my country of origin.
     
    HURRAY FOR THE MARINES!

    Such courageous men and women are truly selfless and dedicated beings with strong discipline.

    They do so much for our country; semper paratus!

    Semper Paratus (always ready) Is the army's motto. The Marines is Semper Fidelis (Always Faithful).

    Anyways, I was the youngest marine in the camp today, so I got the third slice of the cake, YUM!
