    They are all easy to beat but the hardest I'll have to say whitney because of her Miltank.

    The G/S/C Gym leaders were the hardest, but the e4 were easy. In R/S/E the gym leaders were easy(except the 2nd one), but e4 were alot harder. The R/B/Y were easy.

    Hardest overall- would have to be whitney.
     
    I know it sounds strange, but i've chosen Brawly.

    You see, in the begin of the game you'll have to challenge him and his Machop and Makuhita are truly strong pokemon then, and since Taillow is too normal, hits will damage him normal. So that's why i've chosen him.
     
    personaly,liz & tate,in emerald,there even harder,but i recently restarted,now i have mudkip,so i hope it will be easier now..
     
    I say the hardest leader(s) are Tate & Liza because I had to catch an Absol and raise it to LV.40 and teach it perish song to defeat them.
     
    I agree, Sabrina from Kanto and Whitney in Johto. But Witney is only strong because of her Miltank.
     
    Liza and Tate are easy because I traded in my bad-boy Houndoom from my second emerald copy.

    Norman is a pain. I mean once you get a good fighting move in. Here comes counter. Wattson, I dont know why. But everytime I play. When I go against him. He faints everybody but my stater. That manectric and Magneton are touch cookies. Sonic Boom and Shock wave.

    Oh the horror. Brawly is tough. Because ralts's confusion doesnt do the job. So then when confusion gets him in the red. ITS REVERSAL TIME!!!!... I hate that a early pokemon like Makuhita had reversal. I say he breeded.

    I also remembered my attacks kept missing. His meditite had FOCUS PUNCH!!!. I had three pokemon focus punch finished. Grovyle, Taillow, and Cyndaquil. Ralts confusion did the job.

    Leaf Blade missed, so a Pure power focus punch hit me. I picked the wrong move on Taillow. Same with Cyndaquil. I just kept pelting confusion with ralts. I got reversal'd and lost.

    Sabrina from RBY can be defeated with a fury cutting Scyther. Fury cut mr.mime about three times. So then base power becomes 10>20>40. Last blow becomes 80. Mr.mime dies. Venomoth gets the 160. Kadabra gets the, 320. Alakazam gets the biggest slice of the cake 640.

    Fury cutter is a dangerous move after five blows. I hate whitney from GSC. Despite her incredible hotness. Her Miltank Haxorizes people with Rollout. I thought she was overpowered. Claire had that god ugly Kingdra. That haxorizes people with hyper beam, surf or both. Whitney and Clair win for Johto.

    Koga, Sabrina (without a fury cutting bug), and Giovanni win for kanto.

    Norman, Brawly and Wattson win for Hoenn.
     
    you cant get houndoom that earliy in the game,no national pokedex,no houndoom.

    and,i think wattsons easy,how many times have you battled him if only a few,your pokemon must of ben low level exept your starter.
    in red blue yellow,there is no fury cutter!
    once again you cant get a johto pokemon that early in the game!

    I say Liza and Tate were the hardest ones i've ever gone throw alot to beat.
     
    the toughest gym leader i've went up against and it took time was Liza and Tate,Whitney,Claire,Giovanni

    thats scythers level up moves. You should see fury cutter EXISTS in fire red and leaf green.

    dont double post theres something called the EDIT botton ,and jeez,you didnt say FR LG you said r/b/y,witch stands for RED BLUE AND YELLOW!!
    if you didint beat lisa and tate on one of your copys,you cant trade a houndoom,samething with cyndaquil you cant trade it if you havent beaten brawly

    Uh, yes you can...

    as long as its between ruby, sapphire, colloseium, XD and emerald...FR/LG you cant until you beat the game. So I could trade from FR/LG to national emerald. Then national emerald to reg emerald.

    I have two copies. I have beaten the game on one of my copies.
     
    the r/b/y versions had the hardest E4. Lorelie's first pokemon was at a higher level than the champion's stronges pokemon, dragonite, in g/s/c
