Since the main series games appeal to such a large audience, it's only right that the difficulty level is fitting for everyone... but what about us experienced players? Why are we to be left in the dark, relying on ROM hackers to give us a challenge? What I'm trying to say is; do you think there should be a difficulty option for players who seek a more challenging quest?

Absolutely.

There should be the option to start the game as an advanced player.
Resulting in trainer levels rising faster, movesets of important characters being improved, and battle AI being smarter in general.
